CARES ACT with HUD (Small size)The County of Bucks Housing Services Department (HSD) and the Office of Community and Economic Development (CED) invites Bucks County agencies to submit proposals for projects directly related to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis in Bucks County. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act provides additional funding for communities to assist with issues related to theCOVID-19 crisis. All Bucks County Government Buildings are closed; however essential services are still being handled by limited staff. The Bucks County Justice Center is open for limited essential functions from 9 am to 2 pm Monday - Friday. The Bucks County Park System has re-opened trails. Buildings (restrooms included), playgrounds, the Core Creek Dog Park and park offices will remain closed. Campsites at Tohickon, Tinicum and Lake Towhee Parks also remain closed. Boat Launch Ramps are now open.  Applications now being accepted on-line for the purchase of Boat Launch Permits on the Parks ActiveNet Activity PortalVisitors are asked to maintain a six-foot distance and wearing masks is highly recommended. The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works is now open by appointment only.


Notice Regarding Extension of PFA Orders
Pursuant to Emergency Order No. 2020-13, all temporary PFA orders which are set to expire between March 19 and May 31 will remain in effect until June 3, 2020.

All courts in the Seventh Judicial District (Common Pleas Court and Magisterial District Courts) are, EXCEPT for the limited essential functions listed in the Emergency Order from the President Judge, CLOSED to the public beginning at close of business on March 19, 2020. Per the amendment to the Emergency Order, there will be no civil or criminal jury trials prior to August 3rd; no jurors should report prior to August 3, 2020. The hours of operation for the Common Pleas Court will be 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, effective Monday March 23, 2020 for the duration of the judicial emergency declared by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. 

As of April 2, 2020, per Emergency Order 2020-09, all Magisterial District Courts will be closed on a rolling basis except for a total of four court offices as listed on the schedule attached to the order. These four court offices will be operational during regular business hours each day. One court will be open in Upper Bucks County, one in Central Bucks County and two in Lower Bucks County. This Order/schedule does not affect all the restrictions already in place pertaining to the district courts.

It is strongly recommended that you call ahead. Otherwise, visitors who arrive without having called ahead will wait in a queue and be seen in order, based on their time of arrival. Visitors in the queue will be asked to maintain a distance of six feet from other persons at all times.

Bucks County Behavioral Health, Mental Health and Developmental Programs and the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission have all moved to the 4th Floor of the Bucks County Administration Building. Please join them in their new locations in Doylestown.
