Bucks County Courthouse Complex

Judicial Center:

As part of the approval process, Doylestown Borough officials and members of the public were shown this model of the county's courthouse complex on February 26, 2008. Although particulars may change, the overall scope of the plan will be used to move forward. The county's architect presented the model, featuring an L-shaped courthouse structure opposite the existing courthouse across Main Street.

Garage:

In addition to the 1,160 parking spaces in the new garage, there will be 232 additional spaces in adjacent areas. The total available parking capacity of 1,392 will significantly improve access to the existing courthouse/judicial center and the new judicial center that will be built on the existing parking garage site. Once ground is broken, the estimated time required for completion will be 12-18 months. Currently, demolition is being done to prepare for groundbreaking.
