September is Recovery Month

One Community, One Concern
Sunday, September 10, 10:00 am at Barnes and Noble Bookstore, 210 Commerce Boulevard, Fairless Hills, PA

This event will feature Brandon Novak and is open to the public.  BCDAC, Inc. is partnering with Barnes and Noble and Banyan Treatment Center. A portion of proceeds from all sales at Barnes and Noble will be donated to BCDAC, Inc. Please widely share this flyer, as Brandon Novak, NY Times Bestselling author of Dreamseller, An Addiction Memoir (and former professional skateboarder, actor, appeared in films such as Jackass, etc.) will share his story of recovery. PRO-ACT Recovery Walks
Saturday, September 23, 9:00 am (bus departs at 7:30 am) 
Penn’s Landing, Philadelphia, PA

We support the upcoming Recovery Walk, as coordinated by Pro-Act.  We know that you may have a walk team already in place.  If not - please consider joining our Bucks County team, in support of the annual Pro-Act Recovery Walk. Recovery Advocacy Day - Courage to Change
Tuesday, September 26, (All Day) at the Pennsylvania State Capitol, Harrisburg, PA

Recovery Advocacy Day aims to raise awareness of substance use conditions, celebrates individuals in long-term recovery, and acknowledges the work of prevention, treatment, and recovery support services. To do this, participants are invited to meet with their elected officials, share their story, and convey a message of hope. At 2 p.m. participants will gather in the Main Rotunda for a media event.
