* Education for pregnant adolescents,
adolescent parents and their families: "Focus on
Motherhood" - a prenatal education program by a certified
childbirth instructor at specified times at Warminster Hospital,
Doylestown Hospital, Grand View Hospital Children's Center,
Lower Bucks Hospital, Mother Bachmann Center in Bensalem,
and St. Mary Medical Center; "Parenting the Young Child" -
a four session parenting skills program, designed especially
for young parents, held at specified times at Doylestown
Hospital Children's Village, Grand View Hospital Children's
Center, Lower Bucks Hospital, and St. Mary Medical Center.
* Monthly support meetings for young parents and their children: discussion
on topics relevant to early pregnancy and parenting; includes
guest speakers, life skills training and resources essential
to raising healthy and happy young children; located in Doylestown
Hospital Children's Village, Grand View Hospital Children's
Center, Lower Bucks Hospital, and St. Mary Medical Center.
* School-based programs work with local schools to provide
support to personnel working with pregnant and parenting students
and to address the special needs of students; agency staff, currently
offering services in Bristol Township, Centennial, Central Bucks,
Pennridge, Pennsbury, and Quakertown school districts, are available
weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Outreach and in-home support services
for pregnant women and new mothers; nurses visit the home according
to the needs of the new mother and baby; appropriate health,
educational services provided; referrals to other agencies
as necessary; referrals come from hospitals, agencies, pregnant
women and new mothers themselves; program follows mother and
child until the child is 18 months old; program is available
for all age mothers, including pregnant teenagers and teenage
mothers; focus is on low-income women, but no woman in need
of service is turned away.
