On-site assistance for
companies that have experienced critical incidents (traumatic
events, workplace accidents, violence and robberies) to help
employees who are physically and psychologically impacted by
the incident; debriefing services to both individuals and groups
of employees.
Training tailored to meet organization's needs; provides
knowledge and techniques for the management and resolution of
workplace violence; goals are to make organization aware of the
potential for violence, recognize early warning signs of a potentially
violent person or situation, and build skills in conflict resolution,
recording and reporting suspicious incidents to the appropriate
channels.
9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
$90 per hour for direct service; $150 per hour for training.

Three components are offered: Prevention focuses
on creating a safe workplace environment and identifying and
constructively managing problematic employees; the Employee
Assistance Program (EAP) provides cost-effective professional
services to employees to assist with job related stress or
personal and family issues; Intervention is crisis
intervention by a certified debriefing team following a traumatic
incident; i.e., accidents, on-site violence, a co-worker's
sudden or violent death, robbery, assault, a hostage situation,
or a major layoff; Post-Intervention Follow-Up consists
of individual and/or group counseling sessions as needed to
ensure stabilization and minimize prolonged post-traumatic
reactions.

for organizations, agencies, companies that have experienced
violence, accidents, serious crime, or other traumatic events
to help employees cope with the psychological impact; services
provided for groups of employees and individuals;
24 hour availability.

OPTIONS: Sexual harassment training program designed especially
for the workplace that sets forth a practical, common sense definition
of sexual harassment and its potential impact on the workplace; component
for managers and supervisors includes prevention methods, measures to
take to reduce workplace liability, and methods to restore productivity
and morale in the event of allegations; component for employees includes
methods to evaluate behavior that may or may not be harassment and how
to use the employer's official complaint procedure to resolve sexual
harassment issues; one three-hour session recommended for each component,
but program can be tailored to fit needs of organization.

Free consultation service for Pennsylvania
employers who want help in recognizing and correcting safety
and health hazards and improving their safety and health programs.
Training and education provided for the employer, the employer's
supervisors, and employees. Primarily targeted for smaller
businesses in higher-hazard industries or with especially hazardous
operations. Voluntary, confidential services, completely separate
from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
inspection effort and enforcement staff.
