Americans with Disabilities

The Bucks County Court of Common Pleas and its Magisterial District Courts comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) which requires that all court services and facilities be as reasonably accessible to persons with disabilities as those without disabilities.

Accommodation requests may be granted to any qualified person with a disability for whom such an accommodation is reasonable and necessary under the ADA.  These requests ensure full and equal access to the court proceeding  or activity in which the person is participating, so long as the accommodation does not pose an undue administrative or financial burden to the court or fundamentally alter the nature of the proceeding or activity for which the accommodation is being requested.

You may request an accommodation by providing all of the information on the Accomodation Request form.  You may also obtain and submit forms at any court facility.  NOTE:  Incomplete forms may delay a response to your request.

Additional assistance may be requested from the Bucks County Court ADA Coordinator at 215-348-6700.

The original of the completed form must be printed, signed and forwarded to:

The Bucks County Court ADA Coordinator
Court Administration, Fifth Floor
Bucks County Courthouse
55 East Court Street
Doylestown, PA 18901

Please Note:  It is important that forms be received by the Court ADA Coordinator at least seven (7) days prior to the court proceeding if practicable, in order to respond to the request in the fullest extent possible.   (Accommodations may not be provided if the original signed document is not received by the Court ADA Coordinator.)

After receipt of the request form you will be contacted directly by the Court ADA Coordinator as to the accommodation to be provided.
