Rules and Regulations

Batterer's will be subject to the following rules and regulations:
Domestic Violence Supervision Program Rules and Regulations
1. I will respond promptly to any summons to appear at the Court of the Office of the Probation-Parole Department. I will report to my Probation/Parole Officer as directed and permit this officer to visit me at my home or place of employment.

2. My travel is limited to adjoining Counties within Pa. Any travel beyond those Counties, Out of State or overnight travel must be approved by my Probation Parole Officer. I understand that for cause, my travel within Bucks and adjoining Counties may be restricted.

3. I will abide by all court ordered restrictions regarding contact with victims and victims family. Additionally, I understand that for cause, Domestic Violence Staff may further restrict my contact with victims and their families. Any restricted contact with the victim or the victim's family will be reported to my officer by the next working day.

4. I will not engage someone else in any activity that will harass, intimidate or harm the victim or their family.

5. I will comply with all terms and conditions included in a Protection From Abuse, Child Support and any other Court Imposed Order.

6. I will not change my address or reside with someone who is currently on supervision without the prior written approval of the Domestic Violence Supervision Staff.

7. I will comply with all Federal, State and local laws. If I am arrested or have contact with law enforcement authorities during supervision, I will notify my officer by the next working day.

8. I will obtain a verifiable, legitimate full-time job and support my dependents. I will report promptly to my officer any change in employment status.

9. I am forbidden to use possess, or distribute Controlled Substances and/or dangerous drugs.

10. I will voluntarily submit urine, blood or breath tests as requested.

11. I will not consume alcohol.

12. I will participate in a Batterer Intervention Program, and any counseling, treatment or education program as directed by the Domestic Violence Supervision Staff.

13. I will not own, use or possess any type of lethal weapons including any type of firearms and ammunition.

14. I understand that sanctions or intervention strategies may include (but do not require) a curfew, community service and /or short-term incarceration.

15. I will pay all restitution, fines, costs and supervision fees in monthly installments as directed by the Probation/Parole Officer.

Restitution is paid to the Bucks County Adult Probation Department, 55 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Include Bill Nos. _________________ on all restitution, court costs, fine and supervision fee payments.

16. I understand that the Adult Probation/Parole Department has the authority to search my person, place of residence or vehicle without a warrant if there is reasonable cause.

17. I will not enter into any agreement to act as an informant or a special agent of a law enforcement agency without the permission of the Adult Probation/Parole Department.

18. I will not physically or verbally threaten, nor engage in religious, ethnic or racial intimidation toward any Probation/Parole Officer.

19. I will abide by the Case Plan, which will be developed by my Probation/Parole Officer. I am aware that I will be given the opportunity for input into the plan.

20. I will also comply with the following special conditions imposed by the Court: __________________________.

I will keep in mind that I am conditionally released and the Court may at any time revoke my probation or parole for cause. I am aware that should I violate probation or parole, the Bucks County Adult Probation Department has the authority to return me to the Prison pending a Violation Hearing. I am further aware that if I am convicted of a new offense or if I am found in contempt of PFA during my probation or parole period I will be brought back before the Court for a violation hearing.
