Openings:
The BCAPPD does not normally advertise openings in local newspapers or periodicals. However, all Departmental openings must be posted for fifteen days (but may be reduced to 5 days in some cases) on bulletin boards in all county and court offices as well as on this website. Click on "JOBS" above to see what County jobs are open. The application process may be started by visiting the County's Human Resources Office, located at 50 North Main Street, Doylestown (across the street from the Courthouse) to fill out an application for employment.

When a position becomes open all resumes on file will be carefully reviewed and evaluated. Qualified individuals are notified of the opening and offered an opportunity to schedule a personal interview. Should that interview prove successful, then the applicant will move forward in the application process.
