Sexual Offender Supervision Program - Rules of Supervision

It is the Order of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas that you shall comply with the following rules and conditions of Probation and Parole:

1. I will report as directed and permit S.O.S. staff to visit me at my home or place of employment. I will respond to any summons to appear at Court or the Office of the Adult Probation and Parole Department.

2. I will reside at an approved address. I will not reside with persons having a criminal record unless I obtain prior written permission from S.O.S. staff

3. I will not leave Bucks County without written permission. I understand that if I am granted permission to travel I must comply with any criminal and/or sexual offender registration requirements of the jurisdiction to and in which I travel.

4. I will comply with all the sexual offender registration requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

5. I will comply with all federal, state, or local laws. If I have contact with law enforcement authorities or am arrested, I will notify S.O.S. staff the next working day. I will comply with all terms and conditions of a Protection from Abuse Order.

6. I will make every effort to obtain and hold legitimate employment and support my dependents. I will not terminate a job without prior permission.

7. I will abide by all provisions of my Special Offender Case Plan.

8. I will abide by any curfew established by my S.O.S. officer.

9. I will attend and participate in any counseling, treatment, or educational programs to which I am directed by SOS staff. I will abide by all rules, regulations, directions, and recommendations of such programs.

10. I am forbidden to use, possess, distribute, or have under my control any Controlled Substances or other dangerous drugs.

11. I will not consume alcohol.

12. I will submit urine or breath tests upon demand.

13. I will not own, use, or possess any type of lethal weapons.

14. I understand the Adult Probation and Parole Department has the authority to search my person, place of residence, and vehicle without a warrant if there is reasonable cause.

15. I will not physically or verbally threaten or engage in religious, ethnic, or racial intimidation toward SOS staff, or any other person.

16. I will pay all fines, costs, supervision fees, and restitution in monthly installments as directed by my Sex Offender Supervision Officer. Court costs, fines, and fees are paid to the Clerk of Courts Office, Criminal Division, Bucks County Court House, 4th Floor, Doylestown, PA 18901. Restitution is paid to the Bucks County Adult Probation and Parole Department, Court House 55 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Include Bill Number(s) _______________ on all court costs, fine, supervision fee, and restitution payments.

I am aware that I am only conditionally released and the court may at any time revoke my probation or parole for cause. Should I violate my probation or parole, the Bucks County Adult Probation and Parole Department has the authority to place me in prison pending a violation hearing. If I am convicted of a new offense during my probation or parole period, I will be brought back before the court for a violation hearing.
