Fee Schedule

Notice: Effective November 30, 2017 per Acts 40 and 44, recently signed by the Governor, the Recorder of Deeds Fee Schedule will change. Please use the new Fee Schedule on/after November 30.

Until November 30th, please use the current Fee Schedule.

Notice:  
Effective April 23, 2014 The Recorder of Deeds is now able to accept credit card transactions at the recording counter. Cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. There is a service fee of 2.75% or a minimum of $1.00 which will be assessed by the credit card servicer for all credit card transactions.

Notice: Effective April 1, 2014, the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office will be instituting a $10 rejection fee for all documents that must be returned.

Additional pages in excess of 4 will be $4.00 each. Additional names in excess of 4 will be $1.00 each. Each additional parcel number in excess of 1 will be $10.00 each. All fees listed below are based on 4 pages, 4 names and 1 parcel number.

You may do your recording by mail; however, you should make sure the documents meet all legal requirements and that you have proper checks enclosed, made payable for the correct amounts.
Note that Deeds, Mortgages, Satisfaction Pieces, UCC forms, General Powers of Attorney, Veterans papers, Notary Commissions, copy requests, etc. should come directly to the Recorder's Office.

REQUIRED:

All documents relating to real estate in Bucks County are required to show the Tax Parcel Number.

All Documents must conform with the PRIA STANDARDS.

Notice: In an effort to reduce costs and the amount of paper consumption by the Recorder of Deeds Office, effective September 1, 2012 this office will no longer be providing paper copies of receipts for documents submitted. The new process will be to email copies of receipts to document submitters. If we must print a paper copy of a receipt there will be a .50 cent charge per receipt requested. Please complete the form and return to the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office, so that we can enter all email addresses for document submitters into the Landex system.

Notice: Effective July 1, 2012 the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office will no longer be assigning book and page numbers to recorded documents. Documents will be assigned an instrument number only.

PLEASE NOTE

All checks must be payable to Recorder of Deeds.

The Recorder of Deeds now requires only ONE CHECK to the Recorder of Deeds.

When a deed conveys property in more than one municipality it is required to state what portion of the total value is credited to each taxing body.

Blanket documents cannot be accepted for recording.

Please note that when you are recording an Electronic Deed that requires a SOV and you attach additional pages, such as a Trust Agreement, Mortgage & Assignment (Deed in Lieu) there is a $1.00 per page copy fee added to your receipt. We need to print these pages (for the Department of Revenue) and then delete them from the public record. If you like you can mail these in and thereby save these additional fees.

LOCAL REGISTRY OF DEEDS:

Deeds in these municipalities MUST be registered within 72 hours after recording:

BOROS: Morrisville, Doylestown, Perkasie, Quakertown, Sellersville, Newtown and New Britain.

TWPS: Buckingham, Doylestown, New Britain, Wrightstown, Lower Southampton, Durham, West Rockhill and Warwick.

NOTE: A stamped self addressed envelope MUST be provided for the return of any receipts, copies or other information requested by you.
