Deputy Candidate Testing

The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a test for candidates to become Deputy Sheriff’s. We will be holding a test of October 27, 2018 at 0800 hours to take place at the Bensalem High School located at 4319 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem Pa 19020. This will be a two part test, physical agility test then a written test. Those that successfully complete both will be placed on a list according to tested rank. We will then use this list for screening and hiring of Deputy Sheriff’s. To be eligible to take the test you must first fill out an employment application with Bucks County.

YOU MUST ALSO DOWNLOAD AND FILL OUT THE PERSONAL INJURY WAIVER (linked). You must have it signed and notarized, and returned by Monday October 22, 2018 along with either cash or a money order (made out to Bucks County Sheriff’s Office) in the amount of $40.00. The signed waivers and fee can be dropped off to the County Sheriff’s office in Doylestown or the Lower Bucks Office on New Falls Road in Levittown. You can also mail the wavier and fee to the “Bucks County Sheriff’s Office” in Doylestown located at 100 N Main Street, Doylestown Pa 18901 Attn: Deputy Testing. Mailed in packets must be post marked by 10/22/2018 or they will not be accepted.
