POSITION SUMMARY:

Greets and receives guests and residents at the reception desk, located in the front lobby of Neshaminy Manor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers a multi-line phone system.
  • Maintains open communications between departments and emergency personnel, as the reception desk is the “command post” for fire/medical emergencies.
  • Liaison for all visitors, vendors and deliveries.
  • Responsible for all paging inside the Home.Must be familiar with all personnel and departments.
  • Receives donations to the Home and sees that the proper departments are notified of their arrival so they may be properly distributed.
  • Directs new residents and families to the proper departments.
  • Knowledge of all offices and personnel in Neshaminy Manor Center in order to transfer phone calls to the correct departments.
  • Responsible for notifying Security of possible emergency situations existing in the lobby area of the Home.
  • Clerical fill-in for departments that have periodic overload.
  • Greets all residents and relatives with kindness and courtesy while on duty at the reception desk.
  • Schedules and coordinates the facility conference rooms.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typing skills – minimum 35 wpm.
  • Ability to get along well with the residents and the public.
