SUMMARY: Performs specialized field work in investigation. Responsible for representing the Controller's Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Investigates and confirms employee attendance and performance of assigned duties.
- Reviews and investigates contracts for services and expenditures to determine contractual compliance.
- Follows-up or researches by inquiry, observation and examination of facts concerning audit findings.
- Performs various other miscellaneous office duties as necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years’ experience as an investigator.
- Municipal police department experience as a criminal investigator preferred.
