Area Agency on Aging
Aging in Place Lower Bucks
Aging in Place Lower Bucks is a grassroots effort by a group of neighbors from the Lower Bucks area seeking to find practical ways for people to stay in their homes as they grow older.
The group has been meeting regularly since January 2008. As part of its planning process they are seeking information from citizens of Lower Bucks County.
A survey has been created to gain information about what people would like in order to stay in their homes and communities. Your help by completing a survey would be greatly appreciated.
To complete the survey online please click here for the Survey Monkey Survey.
If you prefer to complete a hard copy and mail it, please download and print the document and mail it to The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging, 30 East Oakland Avenue, Doylestown PA 18901. |

Bucks County 4 Year Plan on Aging
Who We Are
The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging (AAA), one of 52 in Pennsylvania, is responsible for the planning and implementation of a variety of services and programs to assist older adults and their families. We are organized as the local agent of the PA Department of Aging, whose broad goal is to provide comprehensive services to help adults age 60+ maintain independence in their homes and communities. Our priority consumers are those with the greatest needs and fewest resources.
What We Do
The AAA offers more than twenty programs covering a wide range of needs. For those who qualify, these services may include in-home personal care and support services; family caregiver support; transportation; home-delivered meals and adult day care. Additional services include health insurance counseling, adult protective services, legal assistance, health promotion programs and ombudsman services. Consumers may also call the AAA to inquire about eligibility for the PACE program (pharmaceutical assistance), as well as the Rent and Property Tax Rebate Program.
