AAA Transportation Study
Dear Resident of Bucks County,
In May of 2005, the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging and the Commissioners’ Senior Task Force hosted a Summit on Aging to determine the needs and issues of older residents of the County. Findings from the Summit identified transportation of one of the most significant areas of concern.
The communities of Bucks County are diverse and transportation needs differ between them. Transportation and mobility impact persons’ abilities to maintain their independence and remain connected in their communities.
In response to this finding from the Summit, the Senior Task Force and the Area Agency on Aging are partnering with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) to assess the transportation needs of older persons throughout the County. The DVRPC is compiling a study that will include surveys of the residents of Bucks County and transportation providers.
Your help is needed. Information from you will help us learn more about the transportation needs and preferences of older persons throughout the County. No identifying information is being collected and all responses to the survey are confidential.
Please click here to take the online survey.
If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Brooke Moran at 215-348-0510 ext. 1248 (mbmoran@co.bucks.pa.us).
Thank you for your participation.
Sincerely,
Brian M. Duke
