Mission Statement
The mission of the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Inc. (BCDAC, Inc.) is to reduce the use of tobacco and eliminate the use of illegal drugs and the abuse, misuse of and addiction to alcohol and other drugs.

As the state and locally designated Single County Authority (SCA) for alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, our agency will work continuously to ensure the provision of a comprehensive and balanced continuum of quality prevention, intervention and treatment services for the county.

BCDAC, Inc.

  • Has a plan in place to address prevention, education, intervention and treatment needs for Bucks County residents
  • Contracts with more than 30 agencies to provide prevention and treatment services
  • Provides for a system of quality assurance
  • Provides a process for client/consumers grievance and complaint

Please note that preference for access to an assessment and for treatment occurs in this order : Pregnant, intravenous drug users;  Pregnant Illicit-drug Users;  Intravenous Drug Users; All Other Drug Users. (Note: 'Drug use'  includes alcohol and tobacco)
