Rodent (Rat) Vector Control

The Rodent Vector Control Program protects residents of Bucks County from rat infestation and potential vector borne disease through the enforcement of the County's "Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Disease Vector Control." The Department conducts surveys, control enforcement, educational and consultative activities for private residences, and municipal, industrial or commercial properties in response to written complaints (form SA-2) addressed to the nearest District Office . In addition, the Department has handouts on rat control (form SA-8).

Insect (Mosquito) Vector Control
The Insect Vector Control Program protects the population of Bucks County from mosquito infestation and potential vector borne disease through enforcement of the County's Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Disease Vector Control as they apply to mosquito vectors and potential breeding sites. The Department investigates written mosquito complaints (form SA-2). These should be returned to the nearest District Office . In addition, the department has handouts on mosquito control (form SA-9).
