Free Influenza Immunizations
2009 Pandemic Flu Drill -- October 17
Free Flu Shots Bucks County
A Guide to Seasonal Flu
This drill will not only immunize county residents against the seasonal flu, but also prepare county officials and citizens for a Pandemic Flu mass-vaccination scenario. In order to infuse as much realism as possible, the county is asking for maximum public participation. (It is important to note that seasonal flu does not protect from H1N1. That vaccine is not yet available. Information about the availability of that vaccine will be announced as it becomes available. )
The fourth-annual event will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the following four locations. Residents should go to the location closest to their home.
Pennridge South Middle School – 610 South 5th St, Perkasie, PA 18944
Unami Middle School – 160 South Moyer Road, Chalfont, PA 18914
Log College Middle School – 730 Norristown Rd, Warminster, PA 18974
Rohm & Haas – 3100 State Rd, Croydon PA 19021

The Health Department would like residents to take the following steps to protect your health:

- Wash your hands often and avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth, or use hand sanitizer when soap & water are unavailable
- Avoid close contact with sick people
- If you are sick, stay home & remain home 24 hours after your fever breaks
