America's Boating Course
This program is co-sponsored by the Pennsway Power Squadron, a unit of the United States Power Squadrons. Students in this program will learn about water safety and boating laws. They will also learn basical boating techniques, survival skills and rescue procedures for boats using 25 hp+ which is now required in PA and NJ.
Upon completion of the course, a test will be given to each student. If they pass, they will receive a lifetime certificate - showing that they have taken an eight hour boating education course and passed a proctored examiniation.
The course will run two Saturday mornings and participants must register no later than June 13. You must attend most sessions. Register on page 27 of the Pathways Newsletter.
