Junior Sailing Camp

This beginner sailing program, suited to ages 10-16 years, will teach the basics of sailing. Kids will gain knowledge of various types of sail boats, terminology, sailing skills, rules of the road, safety, rescues and practical experience handling a boat.

This course will be taught by owners of the Liberty School of Sailing out of Philadelphia. They are certified with the US Sailing Association and Coast Guard Captains.

This camp is limited to 16 students/8 minimum to hold the camp, with the staff ration of 1:8

A practical test will be given at the end with a certificate of completion. Department staff will assist with the camp. Bring snacks, beverage and footwear. Registration on page 27 of the Pathways Newsletter.
