Environmental Treasure Hunt

Peace Valley Park, New Britain Township

GeoVentures will hold a family Geocaching program using a hand held GPS. Come and experience a hi-tech treasure hunt right in your own back yard. The day will include an introduction to geocaching, a tutorial of using a GPS unit and the treasure hunt itself. You will test your mind and body while competing for prizes. Bring a beverage, snack and wear comfortable walking shoes for the weather.

Location:	Peace Valley Park, New Britain Township Pavillion #1, Angler's Pier
Course/Date:	#713 August 7 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Cost:	$12 per person includes all equipment
Ages:	10+ or 5th grade and above (families)
Class Size:	Minimum 8, maximum 30

 

Please note: Geocaching is NOT permitted in any County park by outside groups, individuals or organizations. This program is sponsored by the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation and will be monitored by the department itself.
