Delaware Valley Council is one of 34 local councils (local offices) of Hostelling
International-American Youth Hostels (HI-AYH) throughout the US. Although
services vary, all local HI-AYH councils provide information and services
for potential and current HI-AYH members. At a local office, you can learn
about programs such as educational travel seminars, and find out about local
activities and volunteer opportunities. Volunteering with your local HI-AYH
council can help you keep your connection to travel well after you have returned
home.
Delaware Valley Council operates a Travel Center (currently closed
for renovation). You can purchase memberships, Eurail passes, backpacks,
sleep sacks and other travel items in person. HI-AYH Travel Centers
are staffed with experienced travelers who can help with your trip
planning.
