2011 Programs

The following programs at the Core Creek Tennis Center are sponsored by the Bucks County Tennis Association (BCTA).

BCTA Youth/Adult Learn, Practice and Play!

These programs implement the games-based approach to teaching tennis and the Quick Start program - fast and fun ways to learn tennis or improve your game. Class size is limited.

Recommended Ages Fees
Pee Wees (ages 4-6) $60 (includes T-shirt)
Little Aces (ages 7-9) $65 (includes T-shirt, see note below)
Juniors (ages 10-13) $65 (includes T-shirt, see note below)
Teen/Adult Beginners (ages 14+) $60
Teen/Adult Intermediates (ages 14+) $60

 

**Please note: Fee also includes Team Tennis Challenge on Saturday, October 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Core Creek Park.

Fall Doubles League

Enjoy weekend doubles at a set time and place. Sign up with or without a teammate, and the BCTA will try to find you a tennis partner.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (2.5-3.0); Intermediate (3.5-4.0)

Saturdays: Men, September 10-October 22 (9:00 am to 10:30 am)

Saturdays: Women, September 10-October 22 (10:30 am to 12:00 pm)

Sundays: Mixed Doubles, September 11-October 23 (10:30 am to 12:00 pm)

Fee: $30 per team

 

Pre-High School Training & USTA Junior Team Tennis

Ideal for kids 14 and under aspiring to play high school tennis! Co-ed teams of 4 to 6 players practice for 90 minutes each week followed by home and away mat play Saturday afternoons from mid-September to October. Tentatively Core Creek Park team practice will be Wednesday evenings and Frosty Hollow team practive will be Tuesday evenings. Fee: $85 (plus uniform, USTA fees and membership)

 

USTA-Sponsored Tournaments

NEW! BCTA Tournaments for ages 8 and under using age appropiate courts and equipment. Four USTA sanctioned events in Bucks County, including events at Core Creek and Frosty Hollow. Celebrate Tennis Night in America

Tennis Night in America is an annual nationwide celebration that launches a month-long series of special tennis events. The USTA and local families across the county will host Youth Registration events for upcoming community spring and summer tennis programs throughout the month of March as part of the USTA's largest youth tennis recruitment effort. The 2012 festivities officially launch on Monday evening, March 5, with the best stars in tennis competing live in the BNP Paribas Showdown at Madison Square Garden in New York.
