Public Service Program

As a convenience to the public, full-service office hours have been extended on the first and third Wednesday evening of every month until 7:30 pm.

Special arrangements can also be made to have traveling registrars available for offsite locations for probate and to take affidavits in Bucks County.

Booklets are available upon request covering topics such as:

• Inventory of Information for my Executor;
• Most frequently asked questions about Wills and Estates;
• Information on the “Bucks County Crimes Against Older Adults Task Force” from District Attorney.

For genealogic research, original documents dating back to 1684, as well as microfilm, may be viewed in the newly created Archive Center.

The Register of Wills/Clerk of Orphans’ Court also participates in expos and events throughout the county bringing services to the community.

Barbara Reilly, Register of Wills/Clerk of the Orphans’ Court, speaks to educational, civic, social and faith-based organizations regarding many aspects, such as, genealogy, probate estate planning and other government services. As a member of the Bucks County District Attorney’s Crimes Against Older Adults Task Force, Ms. Reilly also provides information on potential fraud perpetrated against senior citizens.
