COMMUNITY WATER AWARENESS DAY IN PENNRIDGE AREA

The Bucks County Planning Commission and the Pennridge Area Coordinating Committee are co-sponsoring a water protection/water awareness event on May 7 for adults and children living in the Pennridge area.

The educational program coincides with implementation of the Pennridge Water Resources plan. It will be held on Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Upper Bucks campus of Bucks County Community College in Perkasie, near the intersection of Fifth Street and Blooming Glen Road (behind the Glenwood Shopping Center).

The event is partly funded by a Water Resources Education Network grant from the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania, Citizen Education Fund, under a grant from the state Department of Environmental Protection.

All residents of the area are encouraged to attend.
