OLDER AMERICANS MONTH

May 2005 has been proclaimed as "Older Americans Month" throughout
Bucks County by the Bucks County Commissioners at their meeting on
May 11 at the New Hope Eagle Fire Hall.
The Summit on Aging will be held on May 25, bringing together 150
delegates from municipalities throughout the county, with the goal
of identifying needs and helping to increase elder-friendly awareness.
The 23rd annual Senior Games and Expo, starting May 31, encourages
and stimulates older adults to become health-conscious, mentally
and physically fit and socially active.
