Bucks County Domestic Relations "Reaching
Out"
If you would like to know more about how Bucks County's child support
orders are established and enforced, the county Office of Domestic
Relations has scheduled two upcoming meetings in Central and Lower
Bucks County. A third is being planned for Quakertown.
The department has created a "REACH OUT" program with an emphasis on education,
said Domestic Relations Director Laura LoBianco. "It is important for us to
demonstrate how the child support system works and give parents and others
information on the options available, so they can make informed decisions."
The first session is scheduled for Aug. 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the Bucks County
Courthouse Community Room, Doylestown. Another will be held Aug. 10, 6:30 p.m.,
at Domestic Relations' Bristol Township office, 1250 New Rodgers Road, Suite
G-13.
The REACHOUT programs and other events are featured this month to highlight
August as Child Support Enforcement Month in Bucks County, an action taken
by the county commissioners at their July 20th meeting.
