Bucks Administrator Named To CCAP Compensation Board
Bucks County Human Resources Director Carmen Thome was appointed
to the Unemployment Compensation Board of Trustees of the County
Commissioners Association of PA (CCAP).
Thome was appointed earlier this month at the annual CCAP meeting in Hershey,
PA to fill the unexpired term of the late David Steinbach, the former county
chief clerk.
The CCAP UC Trust is a self-insured program currently providing unemployment
compensation insurance for 42 counties, covering more than 26,000 employees.
Bucks County receives a package of unemployment services through the UC Trust.
CCAP is a statewide, nonprofit, bipartisan association representing commissioners,
chief clerks, administrators and their equivalents in home rule counties, and
solicitors of Pennsylvania's 67 counties.
