Bucks County Launches Redesigned Website

The Bucks County Commissioners today announced the launch of the redesigned county Website at their scheduled bimonthly meeting held in the Bucks County Courthouse, Doylestown.

Easier to navigate, the new website remains at www.buckscounty.org, Visitors will find it has a stylish look and updated features. Its navigational tools include Government, Courts, Living and Working, How Do I, Visitors, News, Online Services, and About Bucks.

Living and Working contains the sub-navigation of county services, community information, schools, and more. Visitors includes a list of family activities, historic sites, arts and entertainment and information on Bucks County farms and vineyards.

New to www.buckscounty.org, are the sections of How Do I, Online Services and About Bucks. The How Do I section lists commonly asked questions, while Online Services puts every form available on the site in one easy-to-find location. A bout Bucks tells the history of Bucks County government, along with the mission statement and county facts.

Perfexion Inc. designed the county website and also is under contract to deliver an upgraded server system for faster response and larger capacity.

The commissioners approved the website redesign as a way to improve the site’s user-friendliness and also to prepare for future expansion. Phase II of the project includes interactive maps, as well as sheriff’s department warrant lists.
