Bucks County Issues Flood Warning
Emergency Management Agency Activates C.A.N.
The Bucks County Emergency Management Agency activated the Community Alert Network (CAN) at 7:30 this morning to advise community members living along the main branch of the Neshaminy Creek in Langhorne of possible flooding, due to the heavy rain and melting snow.
The Neshaminy Creek is expected to crest late this morning, at approximately nine and a half feet, and then begin to recede.
John Dougherty, Jr. director of the Bucks County Emergency Management Agency, says the levels should not effect homes along the creek, although there may be a need to remove belongings stored near the creek banks.
