Bucks County Commissioners Announce Upcoming Bucks Votes Public Education Sites

After a month-and-a-half of public exposure, momentum continues to build for the Bucks County commissioners’ BUCKS VOTES educational initiative.

Today, the commissioners announced another week of venues for the program, which continues to reach out to all 54 municipalities within the county.

“Feedback for these sessions has been overwhelmingly positive,” said commissioners’ Chairman James F. Cawley, Esq. “We will continue to reach out to each and every voter during the five weeks leading up to the Nov. 7 General Election.”

According to Bucks County Consumer Protection Director Mike Bannon, who doubles as a voter education trainer, the BUCKS VOTES initiative is succeeding because it gives county residents a unique “hands-on” experience.

“There nothing like hands-on for helping to familiarize people with the Danaher machines,” Bannon said as he worked side-by-side with consumer investigator Rick Gidlewski during today’s Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce Breakfast in Doylestown. “We are trying to get out to as many places as we can.”

These dates are in addition to the two permanent sites established for demonstrations, at the Bucks County Courthouse on the second floor, and at the Lower Bucks Government Service Center in Levittown.
