Bucks County Commissioners' BUCKS VOTES Public Education Program Intensifies Prior to Election Day

Less than two weeks remain until the Nov. 7 General Election, and the Bucks County Commissioners have scheduled a full slate of BUCKS VOTES educational venues in advance of the poll openings.

Today, the commissioners announced the remaining venues for the program which, on Oct. 25, received an enthusiastic reaction from 101-year-old Louise Angell, a resident of Holland’s Twining Village.

“It wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be,” Angell told a BUCKS VOTES trainer after completing a hands-on demonstration of the Danaher ELECTronic 1242 machine.

“The training (at Twining Village) went wonderfully,” added facility administrator Beverly Gauton. “The machines are accessible to everybody, including one of our residents who is a little under five-feet tall. Everyone was so relieved.”

For additional voter training, viewers can watch the training video as many times as they want, at any time, via ON DEMAND from Comcast. The video will be located in the “BUCKS VOTES” folder under the Get Local menu of ON DEMAND. The video also appears, with more informational materials, on BUCKS VOTES Voter Education. The remaining voter education sessions are as follows:
