Robert M. “Tommy” Tomlinson, watched selected fourth-graders as they demonstrated class geometry projects for third graders. According to Mr. Kelly, the activity was designed “to expose the third-grade students what they will be expected to do when they study geometry” next year.

“This was a wonderful opportunity to see first-hand some of the fine work being done in our school systems,” Cawley noted. “I appreciated the invitation. Mr. Kelly’s class did a magnificent job in presenting a very worthwhile math project.”

“The students at Belmont Hills enjoyed Sen. Tomlinson and Commissioner Cawley’s visit to share their geometry projects,” Mr. Kelly added. “It shows they care about staying in touch with the children, and learning about the excellent math program we have in the Bensalem School District.”
