Commissioner Jim Cawley Joins Bucks County Health Department to Conduct Restaurant Inspections

During his two years as a member of the Board of Bucks County Commissioners, Jim Cawley has made it his personal mission to gain an insider’s perspective of the many agencies that come together to serve the citizens of Bucks County.

Together, the pair scrutinized kitchen conditions, checked for proper water heating and cooling procedures, and analyzed the overall cleanliness of the restaurant’s operation.

“In Bucks County, we are extremely fortunate to have a Health Department that works diligently to ensure that food preparation and serving conditions are safe for all of our residents,” Cawley said after the inspection. “It was enlightening for me to have a first-hand look at the procedures the department has in place.”

“I will continue to seek out opportunities to enjoy a glimpse of our many diverse county operations,” Cawley pledged.
