Bucks County Commissioners Remind Public of Polling Place Changes

In a continuing effort to keep Bucks County voters up to date about the county’s 309 voting districts, and to ensure equitable traffic at each polling place, county commissioners Charles H. Martin, James F. Cawley, Esq. and Sandra A. Miller urge residents to be aware of recent realignments and relocations.

The seven realigned districts, which were approved by a board of county judges in March, will take effect during the upcoming May 15 municipal primary, include:

Polling Place Realignments

The following polling places were realigned, with boundaries redrawn.  Voters should check their most recent voter registration card to determine their correct new voting district and polling place. 

• East Rockhill #1 and #2  - Christ Community Bible Church
• Warminster Township #11 and #14 –

Warminster 11: Everett A. McDonald Elementary School
Warminster 14: Ann's Choice - Liberty Commons Clubhouse

• Bensalem Township Lower Middle 1, Lower Middle 2 and Upper West

Bensalem Lower Middle 1: Union Fire Company
Bensalem Lower Middle 2: Cornwells Elementary School
Bensalem Upper West: Kings Library Church of the Redeemer

Polling Place Consolidation

Bensalem Township: Lower West 1 and Lower West 2, combined
and will now be known as the Lower West location.   The polling place for Bensalem Lower West is Holy Family University –Woodhaven.

The consolidation involves Bensalem Twp. Lower West 1 and Lower West 2, which have been combined to total 1,636 registered voters at what will now be known as the Lower West location. According to the commissioners, this consolidation caused a ripple effect with some Bensalem voting districts, necessitating realignment along census-accepted boundaries such as roads, rivers or railroads.

The realignments bring the total of Bucks County polling places to 309. For a comprehensive list of polling places, visit the Board of Elections Polling Places webpage.

In addition, Bucks County independent voters are reminded that, although they cannot vote for candidates during the May 15 primary, they can and are encouraged to vote primary ballot questions – each municipality will have a ballot question on Primary Day.
