Commissioner Cawley presents a check to the Bristol Township Senior CenterBucks County Commissioner Jim Cawley, along with State Senator Tommy Tomlinson, present a check to the Bristol Township Senior Center May 25 in celebration of the awarding of $74,000.00 in state grant funding.  The monies are being used for upgrades including new flooring throughout the building, air conditioning and restroom improvements, new tables and chairs, and entrance alterations.

There are 13 Senior Community Centers located throughout the county supported administratively by the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging.  All provide a variety of recreational and educational programs. Most also serve a hot, nutritious meal. Senior Community Centers link older adults to community resources and help seniors maintain their wellness and independence.
