Commissioner Jim Cawley Kicks Off the Summer at the Oxford Valley Pool

Commissioner Jim Cawley continued his mission of working with varying aspects of county government this Memorial Day weekend by shadowing county lifeguards during opening day of the Oxford Valley Pool in Fairless Hills, Saturday, May 26.

Commissioner Cawley opening the Season at Oxford Valley PoolCommissioner Cawley welcomed swimmers young and old to the popular pool, even joining in for the official kicking off of the summer season with a group “cannonball” into the water.

“The Oxford Valley Pool is another great asset the county brings to local families, a fun place to spend a hot afternoon,” said Commissioner Cawley.

Other county positions the commissioner has served in during his tenure include a weights and measures inspector with Consumer Protection, a fire inspector with the Fire Marshal, a security screener in the courthouse, a restaurant inspector with the Health Department and a senior center volunteer.
