Bucks County Health Department to Spray for Adult Mosquitoes in Croydon July 24
As a public-safety measure of its routine environmental treatment program, the Bucks County Health Department advises residents of the Croydon section of Bristol Twp. that department representatives will be applying adult mosquito spray between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, weather permitting.
The area to be addressed includes Neshaminy State Park and the following bordering areas: Main Ave., Cedar Ave., Miller Ave., Delaware Ave. Maryland Ave., China Ln., Central Dr., and 1st through 6th Aves.
According to the Health Department, the application will involve less than one ounce of pesticide per acre, which will have no effect on pets or pools. Residents should expect to see county trucks performing the service. To avoid directly inhaling the pesticide, they are advised to close all windows from 7:00-9:30 p.m.
