Bucks County Commissioners, Employees Collect Items for Troops
In observance of September’s Emergency Preparedness month, the Bucks County Commissioners started a voluntary collection among county employees for items to be donated to soldiers serving overseas.
Employees responded by contributing over 500 lbs. of toiletries, snacks and games. Employees from the Treasurer’s office have “adopted” many units and hospitals where they have been sending letters and packages, and these new items will be divided among those soldiers.
