Bucks County Park Ranger Nabs Accused Bank Robbery Suspect
Bucks County Park Ranger Dan Gol is not only protecting the natural environment, he is also protecting the community’s safety.
Ranger Gol was in his vehicle on the way to Peace Valley Park when he heard a radio call of a bank robbery in the vicinity. A vehicle was described and dispatchers asked officers to be on the lookout. Minutes later, Ranger Gol saw the suspect’s vehicle speeding down the road. He maintained visual contact with the vehicle as it drove into the driveway of a private residence. Ranger Gol radioed for backup with local police. He maintained surveillance until backup arrived and a suspect was taken into custody.
