Board of Elections Releases Voter Registration Data

The Board of Election’s voter registration office has released registered voter counts and new registrations as of today. 

Registered voters:
Republican: 181,938
Democrat:    185,417
Other:              60,608

New registrations since Nov. 7, 2007
Republican: 2,966
Democrat:    8,197
Other:            2,284

The deadline for registration to vote in the April 22 General Primary was March 24.  October 6 is the deadline to register for the November 4 General Election.
