Commissioners Invite Public to Join Groundbreaking for Phase 1 of Bucks County Justice Center Complex
Monday, December 22, 10:30 a.m., Broad & Doyle Sts., Doylestown Borough

Parking Garage RenderingBucks County is moving forward on Phase 1 of the county Justice Center Complex, which will be erected at the corner of Broad and Doyle Streets in Doylestown Borough. Phase 1 will be a 1,200-space parking garage (see design rendering) that will lead to the demolition of the current garage on N. Main St.

County Commissioners James F. Cawley, Esq., Charles H. Martin and Diane M. Ellis-Marseglia, LCSW join county Chief Operating Officer David Sanko and Operations Director Jerry Anderson to invite members of the public to join them and other elected officials for a ceremonial groundbreaking of the parking garage.

The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, at the intersection of Broad and Doyle Streets, in Doylestown Borough. Over the last two years, the site has been cleared to make way for the construction. That preparation included the razing of several houses.

“We are excited to take this important step in shaping the Justice Center Complex,” Chairman Cawley noted. “We understand and appreciate the impact this construction will have on residents of Doylestown Borough and those who work, shop and dine in the borough, as well.”
