Board of Elections Reminds Citizens To Register To Vote for Upcoming Primary ‘09
Although this year’s Municipal Primary Election will not receive the same fanfare as the Presidential Primary of 2008, the Board of Elections is still encouraging all eligible voters to participate. As a reminder, Monday, April 20, 2009 is the last day to register to vote for the May 19, 2009 Municipal Primary. They have extended their hours on that final registration day until to 9:00 p.m. at three locations:
Bucks County Courthouse, 55 East Court St., Doylestown
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
April 20 only – 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Lower Bucks Government Services Center, 7321 New Falls Road, Levittown
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
April 20 only – 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Upper Bucks Government Services Center, 261 California Road, Quakertown
Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
April 20 only – 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Those wishing to register can do so during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Again, hours are extended to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 20, the final day to register. Questions can be directed to the Voter Registration office at 215-348-6163.
