Prom is for the Young and the Young at Heart
Neshaminy Manor Hosts Prom with Middle School Students

Neshaminy Manor Residents Virginia Smith and Rose Festa, with Courtney Levin, Devon Kaszan, and Casey Maletz, 8th graders at Tamanend Middle School. It’s that time of year - time to dress up and dance the night away at “the Prom.”

That’s precisely what residents did on Wednesday, May 13th at Neshaminy Manor, Bucks County’s premier long-term care nursing home. Members of the 8th grade Key Clubs at Tamanend and Tohickon middle schools arrived early to help the ladies with their hair and make-up. Staff at the Manor provided a large selection of fancy attire for the residents to choose from: including long gowns, glittery tops and jewelry.

The residents, the students and many family members danced to the sounds of the deejay.  Whether jitterbugging or swaying in their chairs, everyone had a great time.

Neshaminy Manor is a non-profit nursing home operated by Bucks County. The 360 bed sub-acute/skilled care facility providing short term and long term care is located south of Almshouse Road on Route 611 (Easton Road) in Warrington (Doylestown Township).
