Adult Mosquito Spray Slated for July 15 in Warminster Township’s Kemper Park
The Bucks County Department of Health (BCDH) will conduct an adult mosquito spray on Wednesday, July 15, in Kemper Park, Warminster Township. This event will take place at dusk, weather permitting. In response to high counts of mosquitoes, the chemical Biomist 3+15 will be applied throughout the park. These insects are known to transmit or amplify West Nile Virus (WNV). The instruments used to apply the chemical will include a truck mounted ultra-low volume (ULV) sprayer and a walking backpack ULV sprayer.
Kemper Park, which is located at 905 Valley Rd. (at the intersection of Valley & Sinkler Rds.), is a 30-acre portion of the Warminster Township Parks and Recreation Department.
