Bucks Issues “Code Blue” Cold Weather Declaration

Based on information received from the National Weather Service, Bucks County is issuing a “Code Blue” declaration beginning tonight, Monday, 12/21 through Wednesday night, 12/23.  The determination was made jointly by the county Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and the Health Department. 

The EMA has made notification to the “on-call” church which will coordinate transportation, temporary shelter, and food, among other necessities. For shelter information, please call the homeless hotline at 877-260-2936.
