Bucks County Commissioners Declare State Of Emergency

With ten Bucks County municipalities issuing emergency declarations as of 8 a.m., the Bucks County commissioners are officially declaring a state of emergency in Bucks County. This clears the way for expedited county and local access to necessary resources.  The National Weather Service has upgraded today’s storm to a blizzard warning, in effect until midnight.

The following Bucks County municipalities have declared emergencies: (as of 8 a.m.)

Bristol Borough
New Britain Township
Newtown Township
Nockamixon Township
Northampton Township
Perkasie Borough
Tullytown Borough
Upper Makefield Township
Upper Southampton Township
Warminster Township

Note: as of noon, the following additional municipalities reported emergency declarations:

Bensalem Township
Bristol Township
Buckingham Township
Durham Township
Hulmeville Borough
Lower Southampton Township
Ivyland Borough
Morrisville Borough
Warrington Twp
