“A Life-Changing Experience”
Become a Bucks County Foster Parent
Children and Youth Agency to Host Information Sessions

We often don’t realize that children right here in Bucks County need your help. You can make a huge difference in the life of a child by becoming a foster parent.

Over 300 children live in foster care in Bucks County. These children do best when they can be placed in a foster home in their local area, which allows them to stay close to their neighborhood and continue their education at the same school.

The Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency (C&Y) will be hosting evening information sessions for anyone with an interest in becoming a foster parent or learning more about how to help or volunteer. Registration is welcomed but not necessary for the following sessions:

Levittown Library, 7311 New Falls Rd., Levittown
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm (Monday evenings)
February 22, March 22, April 12, May 17, June 14

Doylestown Library, Pearl Buck Room, 150 S. Pine St., Doylestown
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm (Tuesday evenings)
February 23, March 30, April 27, May 25, June 15

The Bucks County Children & Youth Social Services Agency provides foster care for children whose families are unable to care for them, and child protection services to children and their families. Foster homes are needed in which children can identify culturally and ethnically with their caregivers.
