Statement regarding missing person

At approximately 12:30 p.m. today, a Bucks County Ranger assigned to Peace Valley Park observed a body at the northeast portion of Lake Galena. The ranger had been assigned to the area as part of the recovery operation resulting from a suspected boating accident. Bucks County Chief Ranger Steve Long believes the unidentified man is the missing person law enforcement and rescue officials have been searching for since Tuesday night, although he emphasizes there has been no identification conducted yet.

The rangers and representatives from PA Fish and Boat Commission have just recovered the white male from Lake Galena.  The Bucks County Coroner’s office will now lead the investigation.
