County Community & Business Development to Offer “Roadmap to Recovery: Exporting 101” Workshop June 30
In an increasingly global economy, a company’s website and marketing plan can be its lifeline to prosperity. On Wednesday, June 30, 2010, the County of Bucks will offer the third installment of the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce’s “Roadmap to Recovery” series. This free workshop will focus on “Exporting 101: Marketing Your Business Internationally.” The two-hour session will be conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce offices at 409 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills, PA.
By attending this seminar, you will learn how to sell your products and services by expanding your customer base outside of Bucks County and the United States. Featured speakers and topics for this event will include:
- Holly Meng, senior specialist, international business, Small Business Development Center, Temple University Fox School of Business: Developing a strategy of marketing, and agencies to help you navigate globally;
- Bonnie Chy, senior foreign exchange officer, International Group, Fulton Bank: Financing and collecting your sales;
- Lou Tierno, letter of credit trade officer, International Group, Fulton Bank: Using foreign exchange to increase sales and profits;
Pre-registration is requested to attend; however, there is no charge. The workshops are sponsored by Fulton Bank.
